Khojaly genocide-our bloody memory

The Faculty of Agribusiness and Management of the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU) held an event on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Khojaly genocide.

Firstly, the event honored the memory of the victims of Khojaly genocide and martyrs who fell for the territorial integrity of our lands.

Dean of Agribusiness and Management Faculty Aloysat Asgarov and Dean of Agrarian Economy Faculty Asaf Gasimov spoke of the unprecedented terrorist acts and Khojaly genocide committed by Armenians against Azerbaijani people at the end of XX century. It was noted that the brutal massacre committed by Armenians in Khojaly at night from 25 to 26 February 1992 is the most terrible crime against humanity.

Professor Azad Bayramov, head of Chair of Social Sciences and Multiculturalism, studied history of Khojaly genocide and stated this tragedy committed by Armenians who lost human qualities was bloody crime not only against Azerbaijanis but against all humanity, mentioned after national leader Heydar Aliyev came back to power in 1993 the Khojaly tragedy was given political and legal assessment upon the insistent request of people.

Then deputy associate professor of the Department of Social Sciences and Multiculturalism Samira Gasimova, teacher Turkan Ahmedova, students Deniz Huseynli and Nazrin Babayeva spoke.
